Javier is the CEO of Pauling.AI, a techbio startup revolutionizing AI powered drug discovery. At Pauling we have created and AI agent that automates insilico drug discovery and computational chemistry, with the goal to make it much faster and cheaper to discover novel medicines.

Previously Javier spent 16 years at Google, leading technical work and managing teams in Search, Ads, Supply Chain and Cloud. His last role was as Technical Director a the CTO office, helping healthcare, pharma and biotech organizations use Cloud infrastructure and AI to improve drug discovery and patient care.

Before Google, Javier was a Software Engineer at Microsoft, and previously he studied in a Ph.D. program in Mathematics in Spain.
